What you're reading, and where it comes from.
What is Chrysalis Intelligence?
A weekly, machine-assembled read of what's actually moving in medtech: FDA device clearances, recalls, new entrants, and momentum by product category, classified and briefed so you can scan it in minutes.
Where does the data come from?
Public FDA sources via openFDA: 510(k) clearances, PMA approvals, device classifications, recalls, and adverse-event reports, enriched with clinical-trials and literature signals. Every number traces back to a public record.
How often is it updated?
The underlying warehouse refreshes daily; the published briefs refresh every Monday morning. The date stamped on each brief is its analysis cut-off.
What's the difference between the three briefs?
Market-wide reads momentum across the whole device market: hot and cooling categories, new-entrant clusters, incumbent moves. Surgical robotics is the same lens focused on one fast-moving lane. All specialties, comprehensive is the broadest sweep: every event lane in one brief.
