Chrysalis Intelligence
Weekly market pulses, quarterly deep-dives (China, India, Europe, Singapore, global landscape), and the full back-issue archive — pulled from live FDA data, classified, and briefed. Updated weekly, on Mondays.
Score
Score one medtech opportunity across 13 layers — market, regulatory, competition, payer, and more — with live FDA, clinical-trials, and PubMed evidence, and a straight go / reshape / no-go read.
Seeker
Generate and triage opportunity candidates from real public signals, then rank the survivors with the full scoring engine. A funnel, not an oracle — it hands you theses to test.
Artifact Manager
A governed viewer for our interactive briefs and models. Browse what we've published — or drop in any HTML artifact and view it safely in a sealed sandbox. Files you load stay in your browser; nothing is uploaded.
AI-assisted features in Score and Seeker are optional and bring-your-own-key (Anthropic, OpenAI, or Gemini) — your key is stored only in your browser, never on our servers. Everything else, including live FDA and clinical-trials evidence, works without one.
Why free?
Because the brief is the product.
These tools are how we start every engagement — and how you can pressure-test an idea before we ever talk. When you're ready for the full read, request a Context Brief: the same engine, run by our team, delivered in five business days. Free.
Chrysalis Intelligence · FAQ
What you're reading, and where it comes from.
What is Chrysalis Intelligence?
A weekly, machine-assembled read of what's actually moving in medtech: FDA device clearances, recalls, new entrants, and momentum by product category — classified and briefed so you can scan it in minutes.
Where does the data come from?
Public FDA sources via openFDA — 510(k) clearances, PMA approvals, device classifications, recalls, and adverse-event reports — enriched with clinical-trials and literature signals. Every number traces back to a public record.
How often is it updated?
The underlying warehouse refreshes daily; the published briefs refresh every Monday morning. The date stamped on each brief is its analysis cut-off.
What's the difference between the three briefs?
Market-wide reads momentum across the whole device market — hot and cooling categories, new-entrant clusters, incumbent moves. Surgical robotics is the same lens focused on one fast-moving lane. All specialties, comprehensive is the broadest sweep — every event lane in one brief.
Can I get a read on my specific device or market?
That's exactly what a Context Brief is — the radar plus the full 13-layer engine pointed at your idea, delivered in five business days, free.
Do Score and Seeker send my data anywhere?
No. They run entirely in your browser. Live evidence is fetched directly from public sources (FDA, ClinicalTrials.gov, PubMed), and if you use the optional AI features, your API key and prompts go straight from your browser to your chosen provider — never through our servers.
