Overview
The structure inside which transformation happens.
The path from a breakthrough idea to a product in the hands of the people who need it is too slow, too fragmented, and too expensive. Elephant Hawk exists to compress that path.
Why we exist
Life is delicate. The work is to preserve it, enable it, and advance it — every life, anywhere life exists.
Preserve · Enable · Advance
Mission & vision
Get the right products to market faster —
so the right ideas become the right products.
We're building a compounding value ecosystem where any of these converts into regulated medtech impact — globally, on working unit economics, at a cycle time the conventional industry can't match.
The problem
Healthcare progress is bottlenecked by execution, not by ideas. Great work stalls in the gap between invention and the market — regulatory complexity, manufacturing barriers, and fragmented expertise turn a clear breakthrough into a long, expensive, uncertain road.
That gap doesn't just slow companies down. It keeps products from the people who need them.
What we hold
Elephant Hawk partners with industry and innovators to develop, manufacture, and bring regulated medtech products to market worldwide. This is the hard part — the full operational backbone, distilled through Chrysalis into a product that clears:
The partner gets the credit; we hold the conditions.
The structure
One engine, two companies.
Elephant Hawk is the US engine; IF MedTech — an Elephant Hawk company — is its integrated engineering and manufacturing arm in India. One founder, common ownership — a cleared design, built into product at scale.
United States
Elephant Hawk — the engine
- Market & regulatory analysis, design & feasibility
- IP, clinical & quality, commercialization & capital
- Every program runs on Chrysalis
An Elephant Hawk company
IF MedTech — built at scale
- India-based, ISO 13485 engineering & manufacturing
- Under common ownership & control
- World-class build at a fraction of US cost
One company, two names — IF MedTech is an Elephant Hawk company, under founder Dr. Rupesh Ghyar. Elephant Hawk runs the engine; IF MedTech builds at scale.
Ways to engage
Four ways to put the engine to work.
The platform isn't for sale — the speed it produces is. Engage it as a service, or as a partner who shares in what gets built.
Fee for service
Project
We design and build to spec, for a fee. You own the outcome.
Carry to market
Product
We carry a product through to clearance and supply — concept to cleared.
Shared stake
Co-Innovate
Design and margin, plus a shared stake in the IP we build together.
Capital partner
Co-Invest
We put capital alongside the work, backing the product we build.
Ownership is explicit up front: your IP stays yours unless we take a stake by agreement. That's what the engagement modes are for.
Meet the founder
Dr. Rupesh Ghyar
Founder & CEO, Elephant Hawk
- PhD · Biomechanical engineering
- Senior Executive Officer, BETIC
- IIT Bombay
Dr. Rupesh Ghyar is a biomechanical engineer who has spent his career turning medical-device research into products that reach patients. He led operations at IIT Bombay's BETIC — one of India's foremost medical-device innovation centres — carrying device programs from concept through regulatory clearance and manufacture. He purpose-built Elephant Hawk's engine, Chrysalis, to do that work faster and more reliably, for industry and innovators alike. He works between the US and India, and still answers his own email and WhatsApp.
